Another Exciting Monday in South Florida

Hi Guys,

Well, the ortho canceled my appt. Called and said that the CT scan did not

show him what he wanted to see and if I didn't want to drive the 25 miles to

his office, I didn't have to go. He did, however, write out another script

for pain meds and Ron drove up there to get it. I was his last appt of the

day and I guess that he wanted to bail out early.

I am still considering this surgery seriously, but also know that if I do go

to see someone else, it is back to square one. This doc waited it out from

February until May and May until August, that is 6 months. I don't think I

can go another 6 months of this.

Well, Ron called the " home " where his parents are and tried to speak with his

Dad (his Dad broke his ribs last week) and he was told that his Dad was

having a cold drink in the parlor. They refused to give the phone to him so

that he could talk to his son. His Dad doesn't know that his son called and

was concerned about him. They never even mentioned where the Mom was. With

this little bit of information, now I am more worried than I was before.

Someone told me that they have to be like " deprogrammed " to fit into the

assisted living concept. I don't know. This sure has not helped. Right

now, I am so sleep deprived, that I catch little cat naps throughout the day.

Hope everyone is doing OK and sipping something cool themselves in these dog

days of summer.
