Guest guest
I finally bought myself some new sneakers the other day. I have been wearing the reebok princess style for the last few pairs I have gotten. Well this time I bought myself a nice pair of reebok sneaks that were a walking style. They seemed very comfortable and I usually have a hard time getting a pair that feels good on me. Well I had a DR. Appt this am and had them on for about 20 minutes or so before I left and my feet felt as though they were numb so I had to take them off. I was wondering if anyone else has ever had that happen to them before and if you might know what would cause someting like that to happen. They are not tight or anything but my feet have been pretty sore lately. I'm just not sure what could have happened and was looking to see if I could get any ideas as to why that happened. Thanks in advance. Barb
Guest guest
i am sorry to hear tht barb. i have had lots of troubles with my feet. do you have orthodics? i have spent $100 on shoes this summer and neither really feel right. i know i have tendonitis and a bad nerve at the bottom of my foot. i am going to ask him to make me new orthodics with this swelling. they are just so comfortable now. especially since i have to put off the surgery as long as possible now. i just gon't have the money. i know the dr would write off, but the anesthesia, hospital, drugs, bandages. oof!!!! so i guess i have to make it more comfy for me. i took back 5 pairs of shoes before i had these 2 that i am still having problems with. might just take some time to break them in. kathy in il
Guest guest
Dear Barb, I also wore the princess reboks for years because they were lightweight and soft-sided. I now wear sketchers - the ones with the mesh so they are softer than the hard ones. They feel like walking on cushions - I love them. I wish you good shoe hunting. Guest guest
Personally, I don't use the brands like Reebok and Nike. I have flat feet and those brands don't help me. For the past year I have been buying sneakers. I starting buying them in a running store here in Virginia. I buy the walking shoe with a reinforced arch. I love them! In the past 1.5 years I have gone through 4 pairs (I walk a lot, and this brand is guaranteed for 500 miles). I would recommend going to a running store because they are very helpful. For my first pair at VA Runner, the clerk had me walk without shoes on so he could watch my feet as I walked and suggest an appropriate type of shoe. The sneakers I buy run about $70, which is less than some Nike and Reebok ones. Hope that helps, __________________________________________________
