Back Home again

Well I am back home again .I have invited my sister to come here and read or

post asking questions of us all as she is very ill with lung trouble and is on

60 ml of prednisone a day . She is having some very bad problems getting used

to it and well knowing so many of us are on it or were I felt we could help her

out dealing with it be it she reads only or if she has the balls to jump in and

ask things .

now on to me I got a great gift for the New year I got to spend it with my son

the first time for any holiday ion over 7 years and it was great !!!!

for the New year I was told the MTX is working at slowing down the swelling and

some of the pain ( Great news for once ) but like all things this is a good and

bad deal LOL. my doc also has finally given me some pain pills not much just

Tylenol with codeine but that's better the nothing and told to live with it .

the bad is now I have trouble with some vertebra in my back and some ribs also .

we are now looking at doing some bone marrow testing , may be a new bone Scan

and such . My blood work is all screwy just like me LOL . still have really

small red cells and a low platelet count along with some other fun stuff. Spleen

in swollen and all I can say is finally after 5 years of try to fine a doc that

knows stills and at lest is willing to work I am blessed with one the knows it

and takes it very much seriously and is working with me and listing to me and my

complaints and troubles so for me no matter how I look at it 2008 is going to be

a better year

as I got a good doc and that is the first step in trying to control this dang

stills and being a control freak that is a good thing LOL okay so I am not a

freak just a weird old redneck stuck in the land of wacky non Conservative

people called Calif.
