ATTN: Small dairy producers (current & future!):

On Wednesday, Nov. 19th, WSDA Small Farm and Direct Marketing Program invites you to attend an all day small dairy tour in the beautiful Okanogan region.

We will meet at the visitor's center in Omak at 8:00 AM and travel by minibus or van to our three dairy stops while learning tools of risk management, food safety and more en route.

Our first stop: Sunny Pine in Twisp with Ed & Vicky Welch, seeing their recently certified goat cheese operation. Followed by a delicious lunch provided by Carey and Albert at Pine Stump in Omak and a tour of their goat milking and cheese facilities. Concluding the tour at Larkhaven in Tonasket where Clare and Sam will share their goat and sheep operation. We will return to Omak Visitor Center by 5:00 PM.

Please help spread the word about this wonderful opportunity to visit with other dairy producers while seeing three unique operations. There is no charge for participation but we request that you RSVP so that we can plan the transportation needs as well as the lunch quantity to prepare.

RSVP to: Fred Berman at fberman@..., also for any questions, email or call . Thank you! We hope that you can join us!

Dairy tour made possible by a grant from the USDA RMA, and we thank them for their support.
