Oh my dear,

Life just does not always get easier does it? Carole, if it were me, first I

would be hurt because my feelings would be shot at that point ;0( Then I would

take some anti-inflammatory if I had it & put a heating pad on my back and stay

off my feet as long as possible for the weekend and then worry about the car to

get you and Al around next, because as you say, you have to have one after all,

even if it is a clunker and worry about making arrangements somehow for the rest

with an assistance program if available later.

My thoughts are with you dear. I'll send wings k?

Carole darling, I'm so sorry! Just when things were starting to look

a little bit more in your favor too! OK, let's start with the ego

thing.

Forget about it, honey. I don't too many healthy people that can

climb into one of those trucks. I have a sister that used to repo

cars and once in a great while had to drive one of those trucks. She

always told me she hoped no one would see her try to get into that

monster, she would have to find a way to get her leg up, grab hold of

the steering wheel and jump up. She used to fall to her knees

getting out of the thing too. Needless to say, she sold her repo

company and no longer does anything like that anymore. So, you're

not alone.

As for the car, have you tried bartering? It's a thought. My

husband's cousin's wife (Yeah, I had to check that a few times before

I typed it) used to work for a barter company in Hollywood. I'll

have to find out the name of the place for you. They also had

dentists on barter I believe.

Here's another one. A girlfriend of mine has a website where she

sells discount dental " insurance " . I'll send you the link privately

if you'd like. I just wish I could do more for you.

Let me know how you're doing when you have a chance and give Al a

kiss and hug from me. Feel better honey.

So, we went out garage saling early this morning and found a few treasures

to resell on ebay. The car was acting upset. It's 16 years old with almost

200,000 miles and doesn't owe us a dime but it kept conking out every time

we

stopped and eventually wouldn't start at all. Ended up calling AAA and they

picked it up to tow. I got into this giant truck with Al having to push my

butt

to get me into the seat (ouch for the ego) and when I got out at home, I

really hit my neuropathy laden foot when I landed and it really hurts now

along

with the back. Obviously I didn't land right.

I'm really worried about the car. Al's getting a tooth pulled Tuesday for

$400 that we don't have, we're behind 6 weeks in rent and now this. I can't

imagine what this will cost and even whether we should get it fixed. But we

certainly can't afford another car, so I don't know what to do. It's always

something, ain't it?

So, I don't know which is hurt the worst, my ego cuz I couldn't get in/out

of this huge tow truck, my leg/back cuz I landed wrong, or my pocketbook cuz

we have so many money problems. Could use some prayers for us please. Thanks
