Guest guest
Thanks Ellen, I hate that others have this but it sure does help to contact others who know what I'm going through. It has already helped just to read e-mails yesterday describing how things are in the evening for us. I have often felt guilty when I have to leave suddenly or turn down invitations altogether. I'm always afraid they will think I just wasn't having a good time or that I'm not interested in being friends. I really don't want to go into my health problems every time. And of course there are always those who think it's all in your head - like my mother. I remember one Saturday she paid me a surprise visit and I didn't have on any make-up. She said " you need to go wash your face - you have mascara all under your eyes. " I told her that was the way I look now that I have been sick for two years. She said that I had never had dark circles under my eyes and that it had to be mascara. Just this past year she is starting to realize that I'm sick - but sometimes she still forgets - or maybe it's just denial - I don't know. I never understood how people believe that someone can think themselves into a 103 fever. Sorry to go on and on, Thanks again, > Hi , I'm Ellen.
