I remember being at relatives and my sister-in-law who is a RN saw my legs and said they looked like they had been scalded. I was feeling so bad at the time that I couldn't tell. I just wanted to go home. This was before my diagnosis and I didn't know to look for a rash. Now when that happens to me I will look in the mirror and sure enough, there is the rash.
