Guest guest
We saw the doctor today about the horrible wound and it seems as though it is definitely infected and there is a small hole in the wound where you can almost see the top of his left VEPTR....there is a pocket of constant drainage out of the wound because of the foreign object in there (his VEPTR rod) So we will be going in on Tuesday for the third surgery in as many months and have the top half of the rod removed. And he will also have some kind of special wound care done on the wound...I think it is some kind of vacuum dressing that gets rid of all the drainage and keeps the wound dry at the same time. Hopefully this will get the wound to start healing better and we can start getting back to normal. Connie Plan your next roadtrip with MapQuest.com: America's #1 Mapping Site.
