Guest guest
thanks louise. it was really emotional for me. i told them how i struggled every day. how most days i can care for myself. but somerimes i need my son's help. i feel i was wrongfully terminated and i should have been offered another position when i was ready to return to work. but my rheumi wrote a script that said no work indefinatly. now no medicare for another year, no benefits (cobra $477/mo) no job now either? can't apply for unemployment and be disabled. on a 3 yr waiting list for housing. but yet i make too much money for public aid. i have to pay $15 a month for them to insure my son for another 3 mos. i guess now that my son's money has been cut now too i can re-apply. Guest guest
Good for you! I am glad that you let them have it. These agencies etc. should remember that they are dealing with real people not just a case file. We all did not ask for these diseases and are doing our best to try and live with them. What about the Native American saying about walking a mile in another persons moccasins before judging them.I do not know exactly how it goes but it sure is appropriate.
