Clear DayHi everyone,

I was reading some of the posts about kids moving out and going to college.

Some of you may remember that my youngest daughter (18 with physical & mental

disabilities) moved into her own place with 3 roommates on July 1. It was a

hard transition for her at first - she had to call or see me everyday. After 3

weeks she has gotten very comfortable with her place. I haven't had time to

deal with the " empty nest syndrome " everyone tells me I will feel, I have been

too busy dealing with a new insurance company that the school district now has.

Medications that I was only paying the $10 co-pay for are now $26 because they

are not on this company's formulary. Now I have to contact the different

doctors and have them contact the insurance company to get the meds paid for. I

wish I would have checked into the medication part before so that I had

everything worked out before I needed refills. LOL

It has been really hot and humid around here. We have had a lot of rain, but

have missed out on the flooding that is to the north and east of us. My RA has

been a bit more painful lately. I plan on talking to my doctor. He reduced my

hydroxycholor from 1 200 mg tablet twice a day to just once a day. Things have

been a little worse since then. But I will also have to start being more

diligent about getting my eyes checked - I procrastinate too much.

I have a new computer so I have lost all of my url's and email address I had

stored. When Roxie moved, she took her computer with her. I kept the large

harddrive since I paid for it and she doesn't need it. Larry bought me a new

computer (Windows XP) but my hard drive won't work with it. So, sometime in the

future, we are going to put my old harddrive into his computer so I can transfer

all of that information that I had stored onto my new computer. I am slowly

getting some of the main ones in my favorites folder. I really like the

computer and I have no problems with XP.
