Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Well, this is the second night that we have not heard from Ron's parents. His Dad told him yesterday that he would call last night and NOTHING....Tonight, we were home all evening and ............NOTHING. Not from Day or his brother. Ron says that is strike 2, I have a feeling that strike 3 is not far behind and then they will get their wish, that there son doesn't call or come around. We are planning to go to Chicago for Thanksgiving to be with my sister and her family and it doesn't look right now that ANYBODY is going to drive the 30 miles to see these two old people in the home. I hope that they know what they have lost. Ron's new job is doing so well (he was just audited by US Government inspector) and passed with flying colors so much that they gave him a days pay in recognition of his hard work. Now he can't even share this with his family. All he has is me and the girls. We will do OK though. Cuddle time does help heal the heart. I had my third and final epidural today and the doc was super. They had to sedate twice as much as usual to get me to settle down and bring my heart rate down. So, naturally, I have been sleeping a good part of the day. The sedative worked really well last night and right now this minute, my back feels OK. However, I still have quite a bit of numbing medicine still in the site. I am sure that will wear off sometime tonight and then I will use ice/heating pad. The doc even apologized for being late. Don't get that from other doctors. Tomorrow I am due to go for my pre-op testing, so I am going to close for tonight. I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart and tell you how much you helped me thru these past few days. I will never forget your kindness. Hopefully, tomorrow I will be able to get on more. I am not going to worry about relatives who, unfortunately, don't care about their son. Night, night, everyone..... Gentle, tender, angel hugs my friends, Debs in FL
Guest guest
Debs, You are lucky to have your husband and daughters, you sound like there is a lot of love and support in your family. It is so sad when people don't realize how important family is. Hope things get better with Ron's parents. Keep up your spirit, I know you sure help keep mine up. in WA
