Guest guest
Hi all, My daughter Violet is 7 months old and has not yet rolled over. In addition to her scoliosis (she is not cast yet) she wears a helmet for plagiocephaly. For the most part she is very active and has done all the other age appropriate things - she is mezmorized by her fingers and hands, she likes to stand/jump in her jumper or have her feet up in the air when laying down. I am just wondering if any of you experienced a delay in your children reaching milestones like rolling over. Or maybe she is just a lazy daisy! I don't know. We are scheduled for her MRI on Wednesday - finally after four months of waiting and I am getting nervous about what the results will show. All her doctors predict the MRI will NOT turn up an abnormalities but you know how it gets when the wheels start turning in your head. Any comments are appreciated. Happy holidays to everyone and I hope all the little ones are doing great! thanks, Janet
Guest guest
Yes I had the say problem with my daughter. I would sugest seeing a PT, they can help her progress, and work with her. would just extend her back, and did not start to roll until 12 months, and then guided rolling at 13 months, and now is trying to do transitions to crawling. The PT really helped her reach those milestones. And now we are involved with early intervention, you also have one in your state, they are every were, and they are going to send in a OT. I hope this helps Josh > > Hi all, > > My daughter Violet is 7 months old and has not yet rolled over. In > addition to her scoliosis (she is not cast yet) she wears a helmet > for plagiocephaly. Guest guest
Hi Janet, I don't think Noelle rolled over until about 7 months.... probably due to her rib hump, but she was active in every other way as your daughter is...... I bet she will soon! Steph P.S. Working on tummy-time helped!!!
