Guest guest Posted June 11, 2008 Report Share Posted June 11, 2008 Yes, you can, but they really look at all the needs of the child (not just the diagnosis) so you can submit any reports - I think you said your son is receiving some input - all those people can write reports for you (or not if they won't be helpful!). It's not just a given that if your child has ASD that you will receive DLA, unfortunately again, it is something that you might have to fight for. We did receive it based on our initial application but others with children even worse off than ours were refused. I think it depends on how well you complete the form?
