Why would a dr. prescribe this to a child? Just wondering because i am taking this medicine for pcos

Anyone know of a doctor in the state of Texas using this with autistic children - Spironolactone? How about at the Thoughtful House? I read about it in the study by Dr. Bradstreet posted yesterday.

Dr. Jepson at thoughtful house has prescribed it to my son but we have not used it yet.
