Guest guest
Thanks for the input on the sneaks. I do have flat feet too although I don't use any orthotics(SP?) because of them. I have never heard of the brooks brand of sneaks and we really don't have any stores in this area that specializes in running shoes. I'll have to look around at places like Dicks sporting goods and such. I even thought that I might be going into a flare, but why would it strike mainly at my feet and no other place. I do think that I'll call up my rheumi and make an appt to talk with him about this. Thanks everyone. Barb
Guest guest
I've tried several special shoes becuase my orthos don't fit standard shoes...been using propet tennnis shoes for several years fairly successfully. the big thing is the velcro I deal better with than tying shoelaces...my fingers just don't have that much flexibility...with my feet swelling frequently it is easier to loosen the velcro. I've tried going without the ortho inserts but have leg cramps so its' just not worth it...my fingers are swelled and stiff..so I have to keep back spacing to correct my poor typing...so I'll just say hello in a quick way...sleepless in Michigan....I've been taking this new sleeping pill about a week now, and started taking it 1-2 hours before I go to bed...I'll give it another week, then talk to do about something else I guess,...marge [ ] Re: sneakers > Personally, I don't use the brands like Reebok and > Nike. Guest guest
I love Rykas! A lot of times there will be a seller on e-bay selling new ones for cheap. I just bought another pair for around $40. :)DarcyOn 2/1/07, Sherry <fanaticforfitness@...> wrote: I never have much money and usually get wal-mart sneakers and I was wondering if anyone recomends any of the more exspensive ones, $50 or so. I am sick of the cheap ones and with the amount I work out I think a more exspensive pair would be a good investment since taxes are coming back....lol Also I hear so many of you talking about Turbo Jam sounds awesome. I Have Exercise tv on demand and they have turbo sculpt and ab jam but I would love one of their cardio ones. Again short on cash to buy them and I looked on netflicks but no luck.Anyone know where I can get them cheap? Thanks in advance for any info, Sherry
