Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I am writing a group e-mail because I have had several stress attacks as I try to write my e-mails and I wanted to update everyone. I wanted to let everyone know and remind a few of you that I am having my complete hysterectomy surgery on Tuesday August 5th at 11:15am at the Toledo Hospital. I will be hospitalized at least until Friday August 8th in the morning. Please pray that the surgery will go smoothly and with no complications. Also pray for a quick recovery for me and that my Still's will not become worse with the removal of Estrogen. We know from past experience that while I am recovering from my surgery my Still's could spiral even more out of control while I am off all estrogen. I have to be off all estrogen to make sure that all of my endometriosis that might be missed in surgery dies. Eventually I will be put on an Estrogen replacement to help control my Still's. Please pray that my Still's will not get any worse than it is now, and that I will be able to stay out of the hospital during my recovery. Most of you know that I have had lower back trouble since the first part of June and have been completely dependent on my wheelchair to get around. I was finally able to have an MRI done and learned what is causing my back trouble. It looks like the Still's has taken up residence in my spine. I have 2 disks that are degenerating and 1 other disk that is bulging in towards the spinal cord. My PCP (Primary Care Physician) is trying to get me an appointment with a Chronic Pain Specialist that comes out from Toledo to the Fulton County Health Center (FCHC my local hospital). If the Pain specialist isn't able to help my back then I will be sent to a neurosurgeon to asses my back. The reason for seeing the Chronic Pain Specialist first is because I have so many different things causing pain all to once my PCP wanted some direction from a specialist in dealing with chronic pain. Oh I do have on Major Praise to God. According to my MRI I should be having severe debilitating pain on both my left and right sides. I only have the severe pain on my Right. I am praising God for this because I believe that he is the one stopping the pain from my left side. I know that I would not be able to simple things like transfer myself from the bed to my wheelchair if both sides were effected. That and I couldn't handle the pain right now if it was on both sides. So I am thanking God for not giving me more than I can handle with His help. Please keep me in your prayers and if you want to put me on your prayer chain for your church or synagogue I would appreciate any and all prayers to help me through this next trial. Take Care and God Bless you all!
