Guest guest
Thank you all for the warm wishes on my knee surgery. Things went well and I am just now trying to take it easy and recover without causing more trouble. The doc said that things went well and was showing my family pictures of the before and after of the surgery. He pointed out to them all the damage that has been done due to arthritis and stated that within 10 years I will have to have a complete knee replacement. Oh goodie!!! I was like if they already know that I will have to have one, then why don't they just do it now and get it over with. HA! No such luck. They're going to make me wait till the knee becomes bad again and causes me more pain. Well for now at least I have a little relief. The doc prescribed for me a platform walker which has helped me tremendously with getting around. Around my house I don't use it, but when I go out to the store and stuff I take it so the longer distances don't get to bad on my knee. If the doc ever wants to prescribe one for you, I highly recommend it. It will be my lifesaver when the total knee replacement comes up. Well I am getting tired and sore so I think I will go and take a percocet and take a nap. (love that percocet) lol. Sherry, Toledo
