Kirk,

I'm sorry to hear about how bad things are going for you.

I too have headaches for days in a row. I think I sometimes have reactions to

meds and hormones. I get so frustrated with trying different meds, I just keep

the headaches. After SD pain, the headaches I can handle.

My SED rate has been low since the onset, after I was put on steroids. But I

always suffer joint pain. why is that?

Take care,

Pain is my largest contributor by far. Although for some unknown

can sleep quite well from about 7:00 AM thru 1:00 PM. I can't do that on

most days but when I can I take advantage of it. What really kills me are 1)

headaches that just have unreal staying power, upwards of 28 days (record to

date) and more recently severe joint pain if I lie still (sleep) at night.

I'll awake to such horrible pain in so many joints that it is indescribable,

yet my SED rate is down this week! Go figure...my body tends to feel the

opposite of what the bloodwork says it should!

Back to bed...I hope!

Go Cowboys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't understand my SED rate either....during times when I'm feeling

somewhat decent it comes back high, sometimes real high....yet there are

times I can't get out of bed and it comes back low or normal.

I'll let you have my headaches if you want them. The best way I can

describe them is to push in on your eyes with your thumbs harder & harder

until you start to scream. That is EXACTLY what mine feel like, except that

it feels like something is pushing my eyes out of my head...either way, the

pain is similar. I am not lying when I say that smashing my head off of a

wall as hard as I can feels better than the headache pain! Thankfully they

haven't been getting that bad that often. They seem to be toning down just a

tiny amount, either that or I'm getting more used to them. Who knows.

Adios, Kirk
