Guest guest
Hi Iris...I saw Seals & Crofts twice...I don't know of any group I've seen who had more glorious, beautifil harmony. What did you think? After both concerts they invited folks to stay and hear about the religion they belonged to - " B'ahai " (sp?) Though I am a Christian, their talks were very interesting, and they sure seemed like sweet guys. I was a Gospel singer & public speaker (regarding recovery from childhood abuse.) for several years (74 - 85). We had a date to play at the Paramount in Portland (now called Arlene Schnitzer Hall - I think), Anyway, the dressing room I got had been used by Seals & Crofts when I had seen them there...they had left autographed posters in the dressing room, as had some other performers. I asked the stagehand and he said yep, and they were real gentlemen. I was 25 and thought it was VERY cool. We opened for the Rambo's - Dottie & Buck. This memory lane stuff has been very good for me, Iris. Thanks for helping me get there! Love & Hugs... Tess
