Hi all

We have just had our 1 year post brace appt for Adan and Dr Emans

agreed we can lay off f/t brace wear to part time We said we were

worried too much pushing in the Thoracic might cause the curve to go

they other way and he agrees saying he has seen that happen.

I wish he wanted to mold a new brace because this one is 1 year old

but he said it was still good for nighttime. I am still sitting on

this not sure if when I am going to contest him but so far OK

The bizarre problem is I brought up that Adan had VERY tight

hamstrings he can not bring his leg up very far with out bending his

knees.

When I said his to Dr EMans he agreed they were very tight and said

if Adan did not have an MRI on file he would order one. I asked why

and what would he be looking for he replied a tethered spinal

cord.......I was shocked because he has 2 bad signs of a problem !

scoil and now this " I am thinking could this of been missed but he

assured me no, I had also back in 2004 when the MRI was taken after

CArmell pointing out to have it read by a pedi neurosurgeon and EMans

said he did so I do not know why I am still worried since My husband

pointed out that he would not of gone down in the curve if there was

a tethered cord ..it makes sense but maybe that is why there is still

a little residual one less than 10 degrees still hanging around.in

the lumbar area????....

Any thought or does any ones little one have tight hamstrings
