Guest guest
LOL. You're not the first person to ask me that but probably the first to make me laugh at the question, thank you. I've got to be honest, it's painful at times but that's what painkillers are for, right? You're gonna love this one too. Growing up, Dad called me his either his daughter or his son Ellen. I was a bit of a tomboy, climbing trees a little too high, tried to play little league until they came right out and said " no girls " (that was heart breaking), Dad's assistant Dog Obedience Trainer, Search a Rescue place victim, dog obedience demonstration team member...you get the idea. Honey, I've had everything from dogs peeing on me to those damned drop/kick chuachuas biting my ankles (that's as high as they can get). The good news about those little bites, the discomfort doesn't last long at all. My husband says I'm more boy than he is (it's a joke of ocurse). So now you want to know how I work? Prednisone, lots of painkillers and a mindset that says " F***k 'em all! " Of couse I didn't tell you what happens when I get out of work. Oh, also I only work 15 to 20 per week, that helps too. Gotta go get ready and take pills. Have a good day honey, hug the family for me. Take care and be well. Ellen
Guest guest
I used to take my son fishing, when it was cool to hang out with the Mom, of course. Now he's 15 years old, hanging out with Mom only means when I'm sitting in the passenger seat teaching him to drive. By the way, He's actually doing well at that. So far only one mistake and it wasn't too terrible; he drove over the pile-on in the parking space. He confused the gas pedel for the brake. Happens a lot in Florida. We're taking the car to Rubin's school tomorrow morning so the auto tech class can change the fluids on it. Then we're taking it back to the mechanic for the rest of the stuff that needs to be done. This way, Rubin gets to work on his own car and learn about it and it'll cost me a little bit less to fix. The car we've given him, by the way, is 11 years old. My husband bought another car (2007 Sebring), I have my Jeep Compass, the old car wasn't worth anything if we were to turn it into the dealership so why not let the kid have it. I had a rough night last night. So much pain, I couldn't even make it down the stairs to check e-mail. Getting out of bed this morning was pretty tough too but let's face it, where there's coffee waiting for me, I'll find a way. How are you feeling, Kirk? Have the headaches subsided? Ok, time to put up more laundry (never seems to end). Take care and be well. Ellen
Guest guest
Well I haven't had a horrendous headache in a couple of days (Friday) so that's a start. It doesn't mean much though...they come & go as they please, and the intensity is as variable. I remember learning to drive. Right after I got my license my best fried & I went fishing. On the way home I had to make a left turn at an intersection on a 4 lane highway. Well, I kind of " forgot " that I needed the green arrow. The only thing I remember is my best friend screaming " Holy Shit " and I gunned the brakes, just missing a car that wound up spinning to a stop. I got out & ran to the car to see if everyone was alright (not even thinking) (no one hit anything) and to my horror there are four Nuns in the car. To this day everytime I see a Nun I have a flashback. They were all trying to calm me down (I was shaking in my boots) and even blessed me before they left. I have to thank you for bringing back " that " memory....LOL. Have a good one! Kirk. Adios. > > I used to take my son fishing, when it was cool to hang out with the > Mom, of course.
