Guest guest
Hi everyone, Just went through my first colonoscopy on Thursday. The reason I bring it up is that although the colon results were fine, the doctor apparently kept going with the scope and identified an area of irritation (I wish I could tell you where but all I have at the moment is a drawing on some discharge papers and I'm not medically knowledgeable enough to tell you what internal portion of the body I'm looking at) and explained that at first he thought I might have Croan's Disease, then decided I didn't but that the area of irritation he noted was most probably caused by the medications I am taking. I found this rather alarming, although less alarming than the though of Croan's Disease. I have an appointment with my rheumy on Monday, I thought I would bring him this paper and maybe he can figure out what the doctor was trying to tell me. Won't have the written results from the GI doctor til probably sometime next week. I found it rather ridiculous trying to talk to a doctor about test results when you are strongly feeling the influence of demerol, seeing 3 of everyone and the room won't stop spinning!
