Tocilizumab (Actemra) Anyone

Hi All,

It's been awhile since I've posted here. I keep you all in my prayers & hope the

dragon is being held at bay, I've had a lot going on health wise & have had no

energy to do much of anything but thats no excuse for not staying in touch with

my Still's family! It seems as if I can just barely keep one step ahead of the

next flare up or other health issues. I had to have an emergency apendectomy in

June which really sent me into a BIG flare up . I couldn't take the Humria for 4

weeks so I was in bad shape but I'm finally feeling more like my self with a few

more aches & pains.  

 

I've finally been approved for compassionate use for Tocilizumab (Actemra) & was

wondering if anyone else had been on this med & if so how has it been.  I'm

nervous but also hopeful. Humria has helped but not completely so my RA thinks

this is the way to go.

Any input about this drug would be appreciated.
