Guest guest
FEAT-Austin Training Families for Effective Autism Treatment Natural Environment Training (NET) NET uses the skills that your child has gained, often through Discrete Trial Training, and generalizes them to the natural environment so they can learn from their natural setting in the same way that typically developing children might learn. That is, to teach the child to apply and to generalize the skills they learn so that they can successfully interact within their environment in a way that is functional, meaningful and independent. The presenter will also discuss ways to begin teaching goals in the natural environment from the very start rather than after addressing goals in structured settings.
