Last night I eagerly turned it to Larry King. After about 30 minutes

of it, and I'm not typically a Larry King viewer, I came back & saw

you posted Saturday night, so I'm glad you posted. I didn't even know

LK was on then, but I for one am gonna watch. I have enjoyed her each

time she's been on the show. I hope she keeps on getting the message out.

tiffany you shouldnot be of to feel bad as y ou intent was not to cause

issues but for sharing what you felt to you own heart a good things to

share. i too take all peoples words, iews and ideas and sift apart what

I to need for self and feel good to share and reject what I to not need

for self or agree too.

veronica welcome to the list and sorry that the list went of so much

like a crazy place to be over night it seems. but i to know this is of

not the norms here. there are of a few trigger points to this list and

we need of to clearly define of the boundaries of such postings of

things.

I hope this doesn't discourage you from posting any appearances

in the future. I appreciate the heads up, as I look forward to any

media discussions on autism.

This is of a good attitude to have of when it comes to autism because

if we reject of a viewing we might miss of some things among the

clutter that can be of benfit for us. so it os fo good to post and such

and if one does not like of her or her words or anythings of here then

they can just ignore and move onto somethings they do want to post of

about. Happy this mess did not discourage of you from being of here.

Thanks Sondra. I realize that sparks quite a bit of

controversy. Whatever feelings people may have about , I think

most of us can respect and support the work she's done for TACA and

now, Generation Rescue in terms of fundraising and the Green Our

Vaccine's March in Washington D.C.

Hi ,

Welcome to this site. Sorry you came on when there was such a negative

thread going. Hopefully, in the future cooler heads will prevail & ignore

or overlook the inflammatory comments made by some. I think if you stay on,

you will find lots of support here & to talk about life, even if it's

specifically not about autism, but b/c autism affects every part of our

lives. You can talk about happy moments, sad moments, questions, jokes,

pretty much anything goes here. I think most people's intentions are good &

although sometimes it gets taken out of context from the original message, I

think if you look back over some of the previous postings, you'll get a

better feel for this group.

When I first joined & for the longest time, this listserve was the most

accepting of all other groups & didn't have these flame wars. Within the

last 6 mos, we've had at least 2 that I can recall & leaves a bad taste in

my mouth with the name calling. I don't think anyone likes it & I like many

others, probably, would hope this is the end of the name calling & get back

to being nice to each other & be civil in our responses.

Try posting a question & see what kind of responses you get; I bet it'll be

helpful & informative.
