Guest guest
Michele, Sorry the link was cut off in my previous email. Here it is again. Yvette A. http://www.ei-resource.org/treatment-options/treatment-information/antifunga l-treatment/ Diflucan and yeast issues My 3 year old daughter has major yeast issues. She has been on Diflucan for 5 months now. We have tried taking her off several times and we immediately see a negative change. I have taken her off again because we reached 5 months and I feel like that may be too long. We did have her liver tested and it was fine, but I'm afraid to continue giving her this drug. It's been 3 days since I stopped giving it to her and she's already stimming more, less eye contact, and her speech is harder to understand. Has anyone used diflucan for a long period of time? Our DAN doctor feels we should continue for at least 3 more months. Can anyone suggest other ways to get rid of yeast? I'm torn here. Thanks, Michele _,_._,___
Guest guest
yvette is this diflucan the pill one has to take for 3 months or so. i to wonder of it because I to have frequent issues with yeast fungus on my toe nails and it causes the some of the toe nails turn slight yellow. they give of me pills to kill the yeast but it also causes me to have of much mental fogs from it as if my brain is empty and void of connected thinking in shifts and times works for a short time to only go back to huge waves of empty and even strong routine parts of my life are distorted and not clear such as how to drive to the local market near the home of me. keep makeing the wrong turns cant hold memory of the route in my thinking long enough to carry through it. many note this of me too and note I to just sort of stare out in a deep day dream state. sondra
Guest guest
Sondra, that brain fog you describe is likely the result of the yeast dying. It can make you feel really bad when that happens. Are you taking the pills daily? Generally after a few days that feeling should subside, but I know you have a lot of other health issues that it may be playing in to. Does your doctor check your liver function while on the medicine? Generally that would be done once a month to once every three months if you are continually taking it. Guest guest
debi I to took of it a few years back but quit of taking it because of hte liver flutter and the fogs. a off topic question but the people know I ot have of fibromyalgia but can it causes of the body to create lumps and or severe painful areas of the legs that hurts so badly to stand and then a few days later leave huge bruises and stillpainful areas> i to find when around the monthly time i to get of this but this time it was of the severest of it ever and had of to walk all week with a ace bandage to keep of the pressure there and keep of hte leg from throbbing. I to been of to just took ofmy power nap so the sensory of me is of slowly waking up. I to find when ever i to wake up my system feels nausea and sluggish and slow for a little while. this though could be of medication related. well will need to go to get of some lunch and get of self slowly in mode of work for the board meeting things. so far Bethesda is of cold much much cold but is of got some beutiful aritechual things. I be did find of my mCdonalds this morning too so took of along walk as i to usually do to keep of my joints and muscles and nerves stimulated but walked of around 6 blocks to find of it. I to just keep of asking the people on the streets of where a mcdonalds place was. sondra sondra sondra
