Hi Ali,

It's interesting that you raise this subject, as I had been a bit

overwhelmed by the volume of mail from this list. I belong to a

number of lists, some more active than others. I think this list is

one of the most active I have ever been on, and combined with my

other lists (I am co-owner of three of them), it was just too much

email to read every day.

I decided to change my list option to receiving the digest version of

this group. I can look through the Subject lines and just read some

of the messages. It's kind of the best of both worlds, as I still get

all the messages from the group, but only in two or three emails a day.

Brightest Blessings,

Tammy

I'm glad that this subject has come up. I knew it would sooner or later, our family has been growing like crazy!!! If I'm not mistaken the way that you can change your settings so you don't receive individual e-mails is to go into "edit membership" at the top of the page. It's a link in purple, you should see it. Go down to the message delivery section, and that should give you four different options. "Individual e-mails, Daily Digest....etc" The ALWAYS default new members to individual e-mails so if you want them all in one digest then click that option, and down at the bottom of the page hit "save changes", and that should do it! Please let Ali or I know if you have any questions about it.I love you all!Stefanie>> Hi Ali,> > It's interesting that you raise this subject, as I had been a bit > overwhelmed by the volume of mail from this list. [looking in and around]

[i'll just stay hidden...hehehe]

Something that may be of use to some...

[like ya didn't know and do this already]

Because I am on 18 billion groups under 16 million names, well, ok,

that's a little over the actual number...sorta...

I always click on no mail...none....notta. Mail works best for

personal mail and one on ones from those various lists. For me, for

me...may not be for you.

Now, because of the funny way browsers love to play with you just

about the time you've put some hard work into something, and it runs

off into cyber space with your creations yelling, " I'm tellin, I'm

tellin " , only, no bodies getting told, cause the whole thing " done

gone " . " poof "

I like to use a set of windows for each thing.

For example, by having M/S in the first window, my blog in the next,

and, HH in the next window on the tabs...I have " my block " set

up...and can switch back and forth as needed...refreshing HH or M/S to

see what's new. And usually...if I've read something in HH, and

others, until it's cleared, those are in purple. But, no mail. It's at

hand.

Now, in my next series of windows I may have only " resources " . Each

tab a different well of inspirations and ideas to scan and bring over.

Be it some of the other groups, a website, or YouTube.

Going for a third set....I may have various mail accounts open in each

tab. And yet another set for our sites, administering, and related.

Whatever the " idea " or grouping of context, it's another series of

windows, all tabbed with related.

Even if a window set decides it's had enough of your abuse of it and

closes, more times than not, all the other window groups will remain,;

recovery to where you were is a lot easier....unless your like me and

have 10 million sets of windows with 22 million tabs, but that's

another story.

You could still get digested versions of groups, but be " almost

interactive " with the window already setting in the tray for a quick scan.

But, that's just me......

[looking round]

[good, no one saw me come in here...hehehehehe]
