Guest guest
Two weeks ago I had my first Remicade infusion. No real problems... My blood pressure dropped a little, which was good because my BP is high! Anyway, I had been fighting off a scratchy throat the week before. After the infusion, it blossomed into a sore throat and cough. Not too bad, I just felt a little crummy. I have a history of getting attacked in the throat every spring, so this in itself wasn't unusual. My question is... Should I go ahead and have my second infusion as scheduled? The sore throat and crummy feeling is gone, but I still have a cough and some drainage. I guess I'm not too clear about the relationship between infections and Remicade, and when the infusions should be rescheduled. Can anyone enlighten me? As to " how did it help? " , I haven't noticed too much of an improvement, although I was able to pull up the comforter in the middle of the night - something I have been unable to do for about a year! My hands always stiffen as I sleep. No other noticeable improvement, though. I guess I'm one of the slow starters. Still expecting good things... (keeping my fingers crossed, so to speak!) LOL Thanks for being there, Vikki
