Judi,

How cute! Don¹t we just wish it was as easy to replace our parts as it is a

car LOL!

I¹ve had my share of problems getting up off the floor, so I can really

sympathize.

Hope you feel better soon.

Hi Judi, I feel like a contortionist when I try to get up off the floor

too...I have two wonderful dogs, who are extremely aware when I am feeling

great and when I'm not...they quietly cuddle with me on or by the couch when

I'm resting or not feeling well...but let me have a good day, and they grab

the toys, stand on their heads, and roll on the floor begging me to get down

with them to play and rub their bellys like the old days...sometimes I give

in...dragging across the floor afterwards and finding furniture to maneuver

back to an upright position is a trip! the other day, I thought the

lab...(aren't they the dogs than can be trained to assist?) should be able

to let me lean on her to pull myself up...everytime I would get 1/2 way

up...she would roll over for me to rub her tummy...guess you can't teach a

12 year old dog new tricks...oh well, I understand the getting up. I have

gotten in my canoe a few times this summer...hanging on to the dock posts

and rolling over on the dock to get upright must be quite a site...but worth

the effort to get a couple hours out on the lake....we do adjust huh? marge

Hi Judy,

I am sorry that you are sore and tired but what a cute story. Aren't

little ones so precious at times?

Hi Al,

Yes, they are, and that's what keeps me going. Now I just have to

learn when to stop and take it easy...

Hi Marge,

Oh, your dogs sound so cute! My cousin has 2 Old English Sheepdogs,

& , bet they could help us get up! But they are playful

too. All I have is a 14-year old cat who thinks he's still a kitten

and wants to race me up the stairs. Oh why did we ever by this 3-

level house last year!

Thankfully, today seems to be a better day, and I am on my way to the

dr. in a bit. He had me keep a pain diary this last week. He is

doing some research too on diet, and also said he may find a place

where I can get in a pool during the week. Oh bliss! I am way more

at home in the water than on land, as I grew up in California, and

there are no beaches in Indiana.

Have a pain-free day,

Judi

Hi Judi,

I hear you. With a 9 and soon to be 4 year old, I understand

completely. I love them to death but they really wear me out.

Have a great day.

Judi:

Cute story! Wish that fixing us were that easy! I

can totally relate to the problems of getting back up

when you get down on the ground. To dust the lower

areas on the furniture, I have to get on the floor,

then must crawl from piece to piece to dust, and

finally use the last piece to haul myself back to my

feet! It's slow, not very graceful, and must look

very strange, but that's the way it is. Also,

sometimes when I am down doing this, my dogs think

that I am joining them on the floor to play - they are

not small dogs either! Try getting to your feet with

a german shepard licking your face and wagging their

tail against you! Oh, to be able to simply rise up

again the way I used to.

Hi Judi in In, I am Judy in Indy too!!!

I can relate, my two grandsons like me to play in the floor too, puzzles and

cars but the last time I did that I had to wait till my son came home so he

could help me out of the floor. Thank God it wasn't a long wait.

I can't hardly stand not to play with the kids the way I used to.

Have a great day and find some table activities when the kids come over.
