Did you guys know that Prednisone works better if you don't eat any sugar at

all - none what so ever... Not even the sweeteners... This is according to

my new RD... That's a tough one to swallow.. I don't use much sugar.. But

none at all....

Yikes....

-- Reliable Nutrition Sources

Hi all,

There have been alot of posts lately about nutrition needs. I am taking an

introductory nutrition course this semester to educate myself. The textbook

lists the following sources as reliable sources of information. I thought I

would pass them on.

a. CDC – www.cdc.gov

b. National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey - www.cdc

gov/nchs/express.htm

c. The Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System – no web address listed

d. National Institutes of Health – www.nih.gov

e. The American Dietetic Association – www.eatright.org

f. The American Society for Clinical Nutrition – www.faseb.org/ascn

g. The Society for Nutrition Education – www.sne.org

h. The American College of Sports Medicine – www.ascm.org
