I've only grazed wheat for a few days several years ago and don't

recall noticing any difference. If you have problems, you may want to

only give access to the wheat for a few hours after milking and then

let them fill up on something else. I've never had any trouble with

oats and I think wheat should be just fine.

I noticed a sweet flavor once when we grazed some rye, and this year

some from the turnips. In the past we always gave the cows some

turnips immediately after the milking in Nov. They would eat the

turnips and fill up on hay. This year I sprinkled more turnips in with

the oats so the cows were able to find turnips all day and it did come

through in the milk a few times. It wasn't bad, but it was different.
