EVALUATION OF THE GOAT

Hosted by SouthWest Washington Dairy Goats Ass. & Thurston County Goat Committee

OBJECTIVES

• Affects of Structure on Functionality, Durability & Marketability

• Oral Reasons: Expression of Your Thoughts during Evaluation Process

WHEN

• March 17th, 2012 10AM to 1PM

WHERE

• Auditorium at Graham-Kapowsin High School

• 22100 108th Avenue East, Graham, WA 98338 Close to Pierce County

FairGrounds

COST

• $5 fee for Youth (4-H / FFA) age members

• $20 fee for Adult Learners / Family Pricing

• Handouts will be provided

• Scholarships Available

Handouts for all attendee's

INFORMATION

o SWDGA & TCGC hope to provide more local " short courses " of useable goat

information for general public

o Funds obtain to cover cost of materials, rental fee & to start up next session

of " goat knowledge short course "

o Planning:

o Hands on Judging / Practice on Live Goats in late March/Early April

o Selection of Sire to improve weakness using ADGA Genetics information

o Goat Reproduction & Preparation for Artificial Insemination >Live

demonstration
