Guest guest
mine was a nuclear medicine. i was injected and left the hospital for about 3 hours. i went back for the whole body scan. i could feel the medicine work it's way through my body. it was warm and i felt it going over each tooth. being strapped down for the x-rays was worse for me than the injection. kathy in il
Guest guest
Hi Al, Thanks for writing. It is nice to know that you did not have any bad side effects. I read that one of the side effects is weight loss; that wouldn't be a bad thing! It is a shame that you have to spend so long on a medication waiting to see if it works and then start over if it doesn't. When I told the doc that previous rheumy just prescribed ultram and an anti-inflamatory, he just shook his head. Do you know what this contrast is that they use in the bone scan. I have had several reactions to the red dye so hopefully, it isn't that. Al, I have been thinking of your problem and you having to see the cardio doc; there are several people in my family that have breathing problems due to conjestive heart disease. I certainly hope that this is not the case for you. Thank you so very much. You also are in my thoughts and prayers.
