mine was a nuclear medicine. i was injected and left the hospital for about 3

hours. i went back for the whole body scan. i could feel the medicine work

it's way through my body. it was warm and i felt it going over each tooth.

being strapped down for the x-rays was worse for me than the injection. kathy

Hi Al,

Thanks for writing. It is nice to know that you did

not have any bad side effects. I read that one of the

side effects is weight loss; that wouldn't be a bad

thing! It is a shame that you have to spend so long

on a medication waiting to see if it works and then

start over if it doesn't.

When I told the doc that previous rheumy just

prescribed ultram and an anti-inflamatory, he just

shook his head.

Do you know what this contrast is that they use in the

bone scan. I have had several reactions to the red

dye so hopefully, it isn't that.

Al, I have been thinking of your problem and you

having to see the cardio doc; there are several people

in my family that have breathing problems due to

conjestive heart disease. I certainly hope that this

is not the case for you.

Thank you so very much. You also are in my thoughts

and prayers. Iris
