Guest guest
Hi Robyn and Welcome! I am 48 and have had RA for 3 years now - am taking Methotrexate, Arava and Bextra. I don't know of any specific centers for rheumatology - perhaps or a can help you out with this one. This is a great group of people with an abundance of knowledge and compassion - we have all experienced immune system diseases and understand where you are coming from. Guest guest
Hi Robyn...I'm hoping a or - our wonderful moderators - can point you to some highly thought of rheumatologists or rheummatology clinics. I'm in Oregon, and my experience is quite limited to local doctors, though I am fortunate because they have been aggressive in treating me. I'm sorry this has been such a challenge for you, Robyn. I have 4 children, though all grown now, and I was first diagnosed with " sero-negative lupus " and " mixed-connective tissue disease " just about the same time my last three children came along (my kids are all adopted.) At times I felt so guilty because I was so dreadfully tired...but I did not understand the impact of these illnesses at that time. And raising children, under the best of circumstances is a tiring, though wonderful, venture. I hope that you will be kind & gentle with yourself. With Hope... Guest guest
Dear Robin; Hello and Welcome. You are in good hands with all of the wonderful members on this site. I left the rheumy over 5 years ago and hadn't seen one until today. Don't make that mistake because irreversible damage can be done. If your dr is not helping you, find one that will. --- <Matsumura_Clan@...> wrote: > Welcome, Robyn!
