When we saw Kassi last month when she was here in Michigan, she said she

eats a pound of bacon a week, rather she needs it or not. LOL

sharing here and sharing over a holiday of christmas or hannaka? not go

to spell and or kiwansa or how ever you celebrate it will be of fun

sharing? I to want of to say for me it will be of a hard two holidays

because they both fall on days the husband has to work and often he

works of double shifts and then needs of sleep to work again and so we

will not be fo seeing of him this year much for either holiday , so we

need to plan of our holiday on differnet days. I to never want of to go

anywhere but stay of home except this year since my grand baby is of

moved to her new place we might be to stop in for her to bring of her

gifts from us. I to have of her gifts already and was of only going to

get of one to three things but got her 8 things I to wanted for her.

One isof a cat that responds to you movements and when you reach up to

pet it, it meows and its eyes and head and mouth moves likes a cat. she

loves of that every time we go to the store so am of got that for her.

she also got a kids lap top sort of game toy.

For thanksgiving here we're all making the weirdest food we can think of.

I'm making bacon and chocolate chip cookies.

really?? Sounds gross. Do you like it? Sort of reminds me of when I was a

teen, a friend of mine invited me over for table cake. I thought I was

getting some type of cake. Turns out that it is literally table cake, they

put all the ingredients on the table and make the cake. Then try to get it

in the pan.

We are having Prime rib. No one in my family likes turkey or ham, unless

it's on a sandwich.

It's better than it sounds. We use sweet bacon (not pepper bacon, ew) and

there's maple in the cookies. They're rather delicious once you get past the

idea of meat in your cookies.

No one here likes turkey either, except on sandwiches. But I don't like gluten

free bread, so we do sandwiches on tortillas.

Hmmm, interesting. I would never think to put those two together, but hey,

I like bacon and peanut butter sandwiches and peanut butter and banana

sandwiches. Which is strange to a lot of people.

I like sandwiches on tortillas but I like mine grilled. Do you grill yours?

I also have a hard time keeping it together, the stuff always falls out.

It is strange that I eat this, since I am so picky. I barely eat anything.

My son is just like me, my daughter will eat anything. Well, I should say

she will try anything. Some things are just wrong to me and I know it

makes no sense, like carrot cake. That is wrong to me. I know that it

tastes like cake but it's carrots, so I just won't eat it. Or chicken that

is white and not browned, just can't eat it. Oh, and here's a strange one,

if I cook the chicken I can't eat it. The smell turns me off so much that I

can't eat it, but if someone else cooks it the way I like it and I only like

a it a few ways, then I will eat it.

The cat sounds like a lovely gift Sondra. I am sure she will have lots of fun

with it. And much cheaper to keep than a real animal.

I dont mind trying new foods but sometimes the combinations of food will make me

say no. I do not get to try new foods often as my son daughter and husband are

all on the spectrum and all like their food to be the same every time or they

wont eat it.

Those are good. I used to eat them when I was a teenager. I think it

was when I added the pickles that it gave me a stomach ache.

I am lucky with my daughter, she is autistic. When she was between 1 - 5

she wouldn't eat anything but milk, cheerios, pretzels and chicken nuggets.

But then something clicked. No idea what, except that she loves her daddy

and he eats everything so I am guessing she wanted to be like him and so she

started eating everything he ate. So now she will try anything. Eats so

many things.

My son, who is not on the spectrum, will not eat much of anything. Mayo on

the table freaks him out. He can't stand the whole idea of mayo. Which is

strange because I love it. He is almost 18 now and I don't bother trying to

get him to try things. Last night his grandmother made some kind of chicken

dish, he refused to eat it because the white sauce on it looked like mayo.

I have to add gravy master to beef stronganoff for him to eat it otherwise

it's too white for him.

You never know, she could decide to try things one day. Wish I could tell

We use the forman grill for a lot of our sandwiches.

A friend is trying to talk me into a turkey and nutella sandwich, on the Forman.

I'm...hesitant.

I like the grill idea, we have a different brand but it's like the foreman

grill. I think I will try it.

I have tried the nutella and hated it. I heard it's an acquired taste.
