Guest guest
Hello listers, My name is Judy and although RA was suspected by my Orthopedic doctor, I got the news from the Rheumatologist this morning that it is. I'm sure everyone remembers when they first heard that news and how it made you feel. My Rheumatologist gave me two pamphlets on drugs that he wants me to read over so we can discuss treatment when I go back next month. In the meantime, I have to have a hand xray, pick up my foot xray and copies of all of my labs, etc. The drugs I am reading about are Hydroxychloroquine and Methotrexate. Can anyone tell my anything about your experience with these drugs? I'm pretty sure I won't be able to take the Methotrexate, because it can have an affect on the liver and I am already having problems with my liver. Thanks for listening.
