Guest guest
Thought about that but a semi legal type told me that by having them sign a paper saying that if they get hurt they won't hold me liable admits that I almost expect them to get hurt. Or that I know we have places where folks can get hurt and am letting them take that risk without really informing them of the risk. The entire thing is a pain in the neck. We do have people picking up eggs and their processed animals and they get the nickel tour. It would be nice to have a day when we could show folks around the farm as a group and maybe have a bit of a cook out. > > Maybe you could see if a waiver of liability would cover you should anything > happen? Guest guest
I don't know if this would work in your case, but we do reenactments and have to carry our own insurance. Sometimes when we perform at a venue, they require us to show proof of insurance. That usually requires us to purchase a temporary "extension" to cover us at that particular venue. Would it work for you to require them to have their own insurance? If it is a school group coming, they should be covered already.
