Phew! Or should I say " gurgle! " My doctor is very convinced that

not only do we need at least 8 glasses a day, but that the amount

increases with your weight! My poor husband has been trying to drink

what is recommended for his weight (he's 6 feet 1, weighs 188) and

that is nearly 10 glasses! Poor guy spends half the night peeing.

This bears watching.

Judi,

My personal belief is to take the water content of your food into

consideration. To much of a good thing is just as bad as not enough. I

try to get the bulk of my drinking earlier in the day so my sleep is not

interrupted. Sleep is to important and I have enough trouble in that

department! I will be curiously watching for the results to this study.
