Hello all,

Once again I must jump in here and say, PLEASE don not give advise as to

Potassium sources like drink extra gatoraide, V-8 either regular, or low sodium

versus medications from your doctors. I believe I read online while Elly was in

the hospital this past summer that a bodies low patassium levels were not always

corrected or influenced by intake of food. My point being is please, even if

well meaning, avoid giving advice about diet, nutrition, etc versus medications

with others.

Just a hint. Be careful with the V-8. It is very high in sodium. Sodium makes

you retain water. Get the low sodium kind if you like it. Avacado is

extremely high potassium, if you like it. But be careful about getting too

much

potassium. Potassium has a very narrow range. Easy to go from one end to the

other.

Sorry. In re-reading myu post, I don't see where I have given any " advice " to

anyone. The fact that avocados are high in potassium is not some hidden

secret. Where exactly did I tell anyone to eat avocado (or anything else for

that

matter) instead of taking medications?
