Guest guest
I loved your " splash " joke. I'm having a really rough day, and any humor is welcome! I'm glad has taken to the guitar so well. It seems to build his confidence to have musical talent, particularly because it's the guitar. After all, the guitar and drums are the two " coolest " instruments, especially for teens. And at 13 you need all the confidence you can get. It's a tough age, but he's a really good kid. I've got Tai Chi and Yoga videos to help with the range of motion on my really bad days. Matter of fact, right now would be a good time to pop one in the VCR. The Tai Chi is more my speed when I hurt. The Yoga is really for better days. I do feel good when I stretch. Have a great day, and have a nice time going out with tonight. Love and hugs, Carol [ ] Re: Saturday " pool party " Hi Carol, Thanks. I still get to fiddle around with them which is nice. It's actually not a bad way of exercising with RA because you certainly go through many range of motion exercises. The electric drums are real nice, but a bit on the expensive side. Perfect if you live in an apartment, condo or townhome. I had to wait until I bought a house to get my set. That's great that you are sending to guitar lessons. Music is a wonderful thing. That's a shame that the pool party was postponed but I understand. My trunks will certainly make a " splash " . Oh, that was bad. LOL! Have a great weekend. Love and hugs, Al in IL
Guest guest
Hi Carol....I saw the Tai Chi and Yoga videos for beginners in the store yesterday, and almost bought one...I do stretches and range of motion as I can...usually some before I crawl out of bed just to limber up....what tapes do you recommend...I have tried to find a pool to go to for water exercise; I tried one, and had to have two people help me out...they kept telling me to just pull up on the ladder...no way it would work, pretty embarassing...there are no pools that have ramps within about 60 miles of my country home....but I think water would help....marge [ ] Re: Saturday " pool party " > > Hi Carol, > > Thanks. Guest guest
Hi Marge, The videos I use are: " The Method: Tai Chi " Beginners Level " Basic Yoga Workout for Dummies " -----Really, they make one! I've used some other yoga workout tapes, but I can't remember the name, sorry. As for the Tai Chi video, they show the movements from various sides, which is important as some of them seem pretty complex at first. I'm not that crazy about the woman who hosts the video (she's annoying) but she does a good job with the material. I hope you have a pain free day. Love and hugs, Carol Re: [ ] Re: Saturday " pool party " -AL Hi Carol....I saw the Tai Chi and Yoga videos for beginners in the store yesterday, and almost bought one...I do stretches and range of motion as I can...usually some before I crawl out of bed just to limber up....what tapes do you recommend...I have tried to find a pool to go to for water exercise; I tried one, and had to have two people help me out...they kept telling me to just pull up on the ladder...no way it would work, pretty embarassing...there are no pools that have ramps within about 60 miles of my country home....but I think water would help....marge [ ] Re: Saturday " pool party " > > Hi Carol, > > Thanks.
