Thanks so much for your help and insight. It sounds like you have a

long road ahead of you and a long road in the past. I can only pray

and hope that your life gets easier for you and your family.

is on Enbrel and has been since January of 2000 also. He

tried a few other things before that but his body became immune to it

so quickly. He does notice when he doesn't take it. I knew when my

husband and I first got married that he would have a problem with

Arthritis. I figured Osteo and when he was at least in his 50's. He

makes comments about how one day soon I'll be pushing him in his

wheelchair. My thoughts on that? As long as he ends up there after a

long hard fight then I have no qualms. If he ends up there because

he's too lazy and stubborn, he better hope we don't end up near any

cliffs!!! LOL I could never do that but that's about how frustrating

it is.

It's nice to hear that you and your wife are so open about his. We

are usually pretty open about everything also...except this. For

instance, he knows that I have been in to check out his group but he

has no idea that I get on here a couple of times a day. I have no

idea what to do to help him. There's my problem. I want to help him

but I know it's up to him.

From the looks of it in this group you help so many people here.

Thank God you have such a wonderful gift. Maybe that's on of the

reasons why you ended up with the problems that you do. So that you

can help other people. I'm sure that sounds odd but give me another

reason and I'll go with it. I know it's hard to stay upbeat about

something like this. I hope that the Prozac helps you stay that way

at least until you get through the rough patches. is also on an

antidepressant and it has helped him be a little more positive in his

daily doings. I hope that the other meds that they put you on will

help also.

Okay, I have babbled enough. Thanks for the ear! Been a wonderful

Whine and cheese party! Hope I didn't wear out my welcome.
