Gins ..thanks I think my friend thought I would know

something because of what I went through this year

with the numorous mammos and biopsy....when I said

they attributed it to the Sd she was a fountain of

questions about fibocystic breasts and autoimmune

disease ....as she has fibro...I tried to explain to

her mine were calcifications and they never said

fibrocystic anything to me....my calcifications were

not deep in the breast tisssue but not actually in the

skin....so I think I was just confusing her more....so

the links and info that have been posted might explain

it better to her...I know that they tell you before

the mammo no caffine 7 days before the test so there

has to be something to the coffee ...soda

connection....I am hoping the info provided will make

sense to her as I have never been told I had

fibrocystic breasts....thank you all for your input

and I hope it will give her a better understanding as

I think the term scared her...and she had a hard time

with me saying this is not uncommon....as my 23 year

old daughter has this problem and the doc didint seem

to think it was a big deal and basically cautioned

about caffinated drinks ..and coffee....working night

shift at the hospital she consumes quite a bit of

Very interesting . According to the first link, quitting coffee doesn¹t

help, yet doctors still advise us to stop drinking it to get relief.
