Guest guest
Okay, I'm now at a crossroad. I'm 10-weeks into my KT journey and after just fermenting my very first KT " champagne " (wild berry flavor...very carbonated and fantastic!) I'm curious about some popular " teas " (herbs) I've seen mentioned in several posts. I'd really appreciate any feedback/advice from those of you infusing (or fermenting-?) the following: HibiscusRooibos I bought a box of each last night at my HF store - $14.50 for 50 tea bags. WHEW! Very pricey, but hopefully the health benefits outweigh the cost. And I really like the taste of the Chinese-imported hibiscus. Sadly, I'd had a beautiful dinner plate-sized dahlia (hibiscus) for many years until a blizzard hit last year. Ouch...if only I'd known about making hibiscus " tea " all those years! I'll be heading to the local nursery once again, before long. Also, I recently purchased some elder flower tea bags (again, very pricey!) as my SO has allergies that even daily Benadryl doesn't always give relief with. I brewed it double strength, adding 3-T to his daily KT bottle. For the past few days I've reduced it to 1.5 T and he is still enjoying relief from sneezing and runny nose syndrome.
