Guest guest
I started taking picture and printing them out for my doctor appts. She loves having them and they go into my chart for future reference. I even created a collage of the daily healing process of my open scalp wound for her the last time since it was covered when I went in. Of course it did not get me back on Remicade any sooner. The rash, way back when, was a great picture. I had some present for that visit, but the bad ones were in photos for her to see. Ever notice that symptoms that are really bad, tend to go away by the time you get in to see the RD? Another little dragon trick, I supposse. Guest guest
, I darn near fell over when I saw this e-mail oh so " stills " trick no shit. The docs said I had a blood clot in my leg , one day it was there and the next it was gone. The bottom of my left foot was so blue My wife called the ambulance for she thought I was hemeoraging... as it turns out I had to take some blood thinners for a while. If they put you on blood thinners be careful as not to strain yourself and get a anurisum in your decending artery and leg feeder takes a chance of blowing out also..... mine goosed egg in two spots and a stent had to be installed... a stent that killed one of my kidneys.... not much information out there for them to treat us without hurting us at the same time... crap,,, a photo would have beeen a good one for our records... It needs to be treated and just be aware to help them understand that this could be a stills trick...they can test your blood tinning rate and help you from getting deeper into trouble.. good luck my friend... Alan From WISCONSIN . Pictures for diagnoses Hi everyone, was reminding me of our digital erra of the times when I could have taken a picture of the bruising of feet to show how the blood was pooling a couple of days ago to take to the doctor tomorrow. I'm going in to another doctor for a second opinion and while they are better and the bruising is gone they are still very swollen and not right. I completely forgot that I have a digital camera and that would have been a very useful tool in my diagnoses of just a week span of what has been taking place. So thought I would share if you have that option available and cannot get in to see a doctor while you have a particular visable symptom, take a picture and show them when you can.
