Margaret - thank you for your eloquent reply. It made me smile. Since I am in

the USA, I was able to start my crop of beautiful SCOBYs by buying an

unpasteurized, unflavored KT from my local produce market. As you may know, the

first fruits are a just thin film. I was hoping for lovely thick white SCOBY and

have them after just 6 months. So refreshing in warm weather. Last week I

shared some with friends, but as yet have found no real lovers of the beverage.

KT reminded them of ACV drink, which they make for themselves rarely or switzle

(which one had as a girl). Have a wonderful day!
