Guest guest
My name is Molly Skinner and I can be reached at molly.skinner@.... I live in Litchfield County, Connecticut (Northwest corner) and me and my family are avid consumers of raw milk! We are also farmers, but of fruits and veggies and don't own any mammal livestock (yet).Raw dairy is available in Connecticut. I know of three farms in this area that sell their milk in local health food stores or have drive up, self-serve stands. We have lived in this area for three years and have been drinking raw milk since we discovered it almost two years ago. I can't speak to any direct health benefits we've had, but I will say that it tastes SO GOOD and whenever we can't wait until Wednesday or Saturday (that's when our favorite dairy does a drop-off in our hometown) and have to buy regular milk, the kids complain of the taste. We have made yogurt, kefir, cream cheese, butter, and whey with our raw milk and have enjoyed feeling so connected to the animals we have to thank for it.I should also mention that a few years ago I discovered that Trader Joe's carries a very affordable raw milk cheddar cheese which we consume frequently. Thank you and I look forward to being a part of this group!Mollymolly.skinner@...
