Guest guest
Hi Al...when I have used Ambien it has usually worked wonderfully to get me to sleep. However, when I wake up...I'm totally awake no matter how long I've slept. No way to settle down and snooze some more. Love... Tess
Guest guest
Hi Tess, That's exactly what's happening to me. I get 4-5 hours sleep and am wide awake. It's sad, because I get up a little after 5 anyway and am still beating my alarm! Hope you're having as pain free a day as possible. Love and hugs, Al > Hi Al...when I have used Ambien it has usually worked wonderfully to get > me to sleep. However, when I wake up...I'm totally awake no matter how > long I've slept. Guest guest
Hi there Al. Yes, my sweetie takes ambien and he will sleep usually 3 hours but he says at least he gets a good 3 hr. Without it he doesn't get much if any sleep he only doses. I say it's because he is so nosey he's afraid he'll miss something. I do feel guilty though, when I go to bed, I'm out like a light for a solid 8 hr. Not even the smoke alarm wakes me (not good!!!). Guest guest
Ambien is a sedative and is made only in 5 and 10 mg. Neither helped me sleep after the first week even though I would take 150 mg Amitriptyline (which is also prescribed for pain), .5 Xanax, and even a Soma. I was changed to Effexor, but after the second dose, I was a nervous wreck. It's ttests show a large percentage of nervousness and of sleeplessness. I still don't know why it was prescribed for me. Now, I'm taking Restoril, and that seems to be helping, and it's a lot cheaper. I'm still taking Soma because of the #8-9 level back/Sciatic pain, so I'm not sure I'm resting well or not. I may find out after I get some relief from the back thing. Dennis [ ] ambien >> > No Pris I have never taken Ambien. But do take 75 mg. of Trazone >> > that does not work..
