Guest guest
Did anyone see that show? I think it was on Discovery Health yesterday. It was such a great story. They were born in the late 1950's, their mother abused them & kept them hidden. When their parents died their younger sister opened their world by taking them everywhere. They became fascinated with Dick , 100,000 Pyramid, and would make thousands of color charts about what he wore, what questions were asked, etc. They could also tell you who sang any song. A reporter in FL where they lived took an interest in them, did some stories, and developed a friendship with them. He got them a visit with Dick . Their sister died and then they went north to live with their brother & SIL who did not like them. I think they ended up in a community-based setting and the reporter kept in touch with them and took them not too long ago to see Dick again. Dick also called them every year on their birthday and they called Dick when their sister died. If anyone knows the name of the reporter & if he's still reporting, I'd love to contact him to thank him for taking a personal interest in these ladies. Seeing that people like him, who had no need to take an interest but did anyway I think are such wonderful people. Debi
