Guest guest
Hi Gail, That’s wonderful, it must have taken a lot of courage to talk to him. I’m so glad that it worked out well for you. He's very understanding and sees my inner-self and my character and loves me in spite of my RA and imperfections. I think he's probably got a few himself. :-) I can overlook those too. We are very happy and compatible together. That's all that matters. Guest guest
Niki, Thank you! I spent a lot of time today just holding the kids. They just sort of roll their eyes at me, but they always oblige when I need "lovins" from them. We already had an appointment scheduled at the peds, and the doc spent about 30 minutes with us this afternoon. It was just what I needed. I didn't know how I would know if the babies were hurt in any way. All Sam can say is "cookie" and "ball ball", and Sara is really good as saying "eah", but nothing like "hey mom, I've got back pain". He explained to me the difference between how I as the driver and how a 16 month old handle something like a collision so differently. Babies ride comfortably in their carseats and don't know to tense up and try to resist the force against them. They just go with the flow. That explains why thought it was fun and I thought we had been hit by a Sherman Tank. The insurance adjustor seems to be working on our side, and that is a big relief. He has made arrangements for us to get our van to the dealership and have a rental van waiting when we get there tomorrow morning. It should give me plenty of time to get to the airport to pick up my parents in the afternoon. Even though I'm 35 years old, my mom loves to take care of me, so her timing is impeccable. She'll cook and take care of the kids, and hopefully I can get out for a massage or two while she's here. Things are definitely looking better tonight than they were last night. I really appreciate all the concern and advice about the carseats that I've gotten today. I haven't been able to think straight, so it's so nice to have ya'll to put my mind at ease. Thank you. Gail Gail Gail,I'm just getting caught up on posts here, and have just finished reading your saga. I am so glad to hear that you all are ok. The van and car seats are all material things and can be replaced easily. You and the kids are what matter, and I'm so relieved you weren't seriously hurt. Give those kids of yours kisses from us. You need to be treated to a day at the spa, you've more than earned it!!!NikiKaylie & Danny (STAR grads)Phila., PAFor more plagio info
