Guest guest
Ha! That's a good one. My dd wasn't interested in cleanliness until her Brownie leader did a lesson on germs and hand washing at a meeting one day. She showed them that trick where you have glitter on your hands [representing the germs] and after you wash your hands some of the glitter still sticks to your hand and passes to others when you shake hands with them. My dd freaked. Ever since she's had a horror of both germs and glitter. No girlie glitter stuff for her, and she washes her hands so often she's cracked and bleeding in winter. I keep after her with lotion but she hates it and hides her hands from me... Sigh ... In a message dated 12/1/2008 11:08:18 A.M. I know she can do it, she just doesn't have any interest in it. I also still have to remind her to wash her hands after going to the bathroom and keep her face clean. It is so interesting that these girls are not aware of cleanliness. Even the girls that are high functioning. Guest guest
Sondra thank you! I shared your response with Allie. :-) She loves that you and she have things in common. She likes to hear about you and your family and pets, so it makes her happy to know that you enjoy hearing about her. :-) Sandi In a message dated 12/3/2008 11:08:57 P.M.
